School Rules

  • Students should be respectful and courteous to fellow-students, teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • The medium of instruction is English and students are expected to communicate in English at all times.
  • Students must carry their School Handbook every day.
  • It is compulsory to wear the school lanyard every day. Not bringing the lanyard could result in the child not being allowed into the school premises.
  • Punctuality is essential at all times. Students need to be in school before the first assembly bell. Late remark will be marked on the handbook if the student reports after the second bell. The school office should be informed by 7:30am in case of absence/late.
  • In case of absence, the reason of absence should be entered and signed by the parent in the ‘Leave Record’ in the Handbook and apply for leave in the parent portal.
  • In case of sickness, a doctor’s medical certificate along with a leave note from the parent should be presented to the Principal.
  • In case the parent wants to take the child early, kindly inform the School office before 1:15pm. An authorization letter has to be given to the person who will pick up the child other than the parent.
  • No student will remain on the campus or in the class room after the last bell has been rung.
  • Children are advised to behave in an orderly manner in the school and in public places.
  • If earrings must be worn then they must be small hoops or studs. Nose rings, bangles, rings, bracelets, tattoos, mehendi of any kind are not permitted. Nails must be kept short, and clean without nail polish.
  • Students are not permitted to carry money to school except if requested by the school.
  • All school property must be taken care of and no student should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs or damage any other school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done, even by accident, should be reported at once to the appropriate authority. Any damage done will be made good by the one who does it.
  • Students will refrain from littering and use the bins. They should keep the school premises clean.
  • Unacceptable behaviour including but not limited to irregular attendance, academic dishonesty, and neglect of homework, disruptive behaviour, loitering and disrespectful behaviour towards staff or fellow students will result in serious disciplinary action.
  • Any form of bullying, ragging, misbehaviour or violation of school discipline will be dealt by the disciplinary committee and corrective action will be taken. In extreme cases parents will be called in to discuss the child’s behaviour.
  • The school is not responsible for goods or money lost. Therefore it is not advisable to bring any valuables (like expensive watches, mobiles, ornaments) to school.
